Report of the Committee on its activities from 16 Sept. 2021 to 30 Sept. 2022

The Committee for Editorial Independence of the media house Economia has issued a summary report on its activities for the period from 16 September 2021 to 30 September 2022. During this period, the Committee did not find any case of affecting the editorial content of the titles published by the media house Economia by inappropriate interference by the shareholder. The Committee initiated a survey of public attitudes towards media independence in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia that was conducted in cooperation with the Czech National Committee of the International Press Institute and supported by the Bakala Foundation. The Committee also took part in the consultation on the preparation of the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA).
